Those applying for financial assistance should note their request on the
application form and Canadians should ensure that a social insurance
number has been provided. Requests for financial assistance must be
accompanied by a statement of need outlining general financial
circumstances. Only those applications that include a statement of need
will be considered. Awards are given based on a combination of artistic
merit and financial need.
