Amy Goodman, one of the most prominent names in independent media, spoke
at McGill University on November 7.

Her discussion spanned a wide array of topics, including Obama, racism,
the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the role of media in democracy,

Her presentation was part of the international symposium of the World
Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC). This gathering of
programmers from around the globe marked AMARC's 25th anniversary.
