Politics of Climate Change
Political debates still continue to overshadow much of the global climate change issue and we still have a long way to focus on how to reduce the vulnerabilities of the affected population. This is the same in South Asia where governments have still failed to reach a consensus on many contentious issues. In September, senior government officials from South Asia met during what was supposed to be a significant regional conference in Kathmandu hosted by the Nepali government with the support of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, DFID and Embassy of Denmark.
