First community radio station to close

A lack of money looks set to force the closure of the UK's first full-time
community radio station at the end of the year.
Forest of Dean Radio, which started in 1995, later securing the first
Community Radio licence in 2005, says it will close at midnight on
December 31.

The closure will follow the failure of similar projects in Liverpool,
Inverness, Chesterfield, Chelmsford, Harlow and London.
