Enemy at the Gates

In this edition, we are in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, to look into the ongoing conflict in Swat, in the North West Frontier Province or NWFP of Pakistan, where thousands of civilian population has fled after the government launched a military offensive, dubbed Operation Rah-e-Rast or the True Path, against Taliban militants in the entire Malakand division including Swat of NWFP. The current conflict was fueled by the US led war on terror with the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.
