SAJAMA CUT TO CELEBRATE
RECORD STORE DAY WITH THE UK LABEL

Record Store Day which falls on Saturday, April 16, 2011 has moved the hearts of Sajama Cut to do something for the world of music. "Chinese Magicians" is a new digital EP released by Sajama Cut under the UK label, namely Lazy Acre Records. Extended Play which contains three songs would offer two singles from the latest album "Manimal" (Painting / Pantings + Twice) and brand new song, titled "Evil Twin".
Involvement from Lazy Acre Records to release "Chinese Magicians" EP is considered very attractive for Sajama Cut. "This EP should be an entry that is good enough for our small world, to people who may not yet familiar with us." said Marcel Thee, vocalist Sajama Cut. This EP can be heard directly on the website Lazy Acre Records (www.lazyacrerecords.co.uk) starting from April 16, 2011.
Sajama Cut is a Jakarta-based indie band and well-known for their dynamic change of musical styles, which ranges from baroque, noise, ambient, indie rock, lo-fi, and electronica. After line-up change, the band consists of their only one original member and also the front man, Marcel Thee (vocals, guitars, various instruments), Dion Panlima Reza (guitars, vocals, percussion, synths), Randy Apriza Akbar (bass, vocals), Vishnu Aji (keyboards, synths, samplers, vocals), Hans Citra Patria (percussion, synths), and Banu satrio (drums, percussion, vocals). The band has released a new single "Paintings/Pantings" in April 2010 as well as the band were preparing for the the new album. Finally, "Manimal"the band's LP follow-up to single "Paintings/Pantings"was released on The Bronze Medal Recording Company and distributed by Demajors in October 2010. The album "Manimal" also made critically-acclaimed for their new sounds. "Manimal" was taken from the title series about an 80's hero who can turn himself into various animals to confront their enemies.
