Hello,
We need a mentor to assist us with our community radio application to the
CRTC. We have found a funding body that may approve our request and would
love to have you on board. The time commitment would be around three
months, the outcome would be a completed crtc application. You would be
required to site your self on beautiful Gabriola for the project duration.
Compensation would be $10,000 for the successful candidate, subject to
grant approval. We are looking for someone with mentoring, and at least 5
years of station management experience.
In the capacity of mentor, the project goals are to re file our withdrawn
crtc application, negotiate with our engineer for a technical study and
engineering brief and over see negotiations with a large commercial radio
undertaking. The position is supported by three experienced board members.
If you are interested I need to have your brief CV or resume outlining
relevant mentoring and radio application experience ASAP (Friday June 12)
. The deadline for our filing is Monday June 15th, hard copy required in
Vancouver office.
Successful applicant will be required to sign a mentoring agreement.
